•  Provide a more efficient and professional work area for the staff and the numerous volunteers.

•  Provide climate controlled archival space that the growing collections deserve for now and future generations.

 

The Building Addition and Remodeling Plan

The following improvements to the Main Building of the Museum are planned:

•  8,374 square feet of additional space.

•  3,306 square feet of remodeled space

•  Energy-efficient interior lighting, heating, cooling and climate control

•  Adequate and efficient staff and volunteer work space

•  Adequate public restrooms

•  Increased archival storage space

•  Program, Research, and Educational Rooms
